There is no doubt that Dragon's Dogma 2 has won the hearts of many players and never better, considering the initial events of the adventure. It has also not been without controversy due to micropayments, performance and the issue of (non) match slots. Luckily, the game's first major update resolves (more or less) one of these aspects.
The update has already been released for PS5 and PC, while Xbox Series X/S users will have to wait a little longer. Capcom has assured that it will arrive as soon as possible. As for improvements, the option to start a new game has been added and the quality has improved thanks to DLSS.
The rest of the patch includes bug fixes, changes to several missions, and improvements to text display for both platforms. PS5 exclusively receives options to activate/deactivate motion blur and ray tracing, and set a 30 fps limitation.
PC exclusively receives the DLSS Super Resolution function and improvements in models with very specific configurations. They note that these improvements will not significantly improve performance, but that they are preparing another update dedicated to this topic. Meanwhile, the modder community found a solution to all these problems and more days ago.
