It's not official yet, but the sparrows and transfer reporters are already whistling it from the rooftops: Toni Kroos will extend his contract with Real Madrid, which expires at the end of the season (90min reported).
However, Kroos will not be the only veteran who will stay at Real. Like the Spanish one AS Reportedly, in addition to the German international, Nacho Fernandez and Lucas Vazquez will also extend their expiring contracts for another year.
The talks should be ready by next week so that the signatures can be put on paper and the contract extension can be announced.
The Royals will continue to rely on the experienced trio. Captain Nacho, like Kroos, is 34 years old. Vazquez, who will celebrate his 33rd birthday in July, is also one of the comparatively older players at the Spanish capital club. However, that doesn't make them any less important for the team.
