Land Aircraft Carrier is the new functional vehicle from Xpeng Aeroht that is presented at CES 2025. Xpeng Aeroht will begin pre-sales of this vehicle in the coming months.
The Xpeng Aeroth vehicle offers manual and autonomous flight modes, including automatic route planning, autonomous cruise, one-touch return, 360-degree obstacle detection, and downhill vision assist.
The innovative one-knob control system allows you to master manual control in five minutes and achieve expert dexterity in three hours. While, the dual driving modes offer a comfort mode for greater ease and a sport mode for improved maneuverability.
At any time during autonomous flight, the pilot has primary control and can manually override it. In both manual and autonomous modes, the intelligent flight control and navigation system ensures stability, keeping flight parameters within safe limits.
Xpeng Aeroht presents a car capable of storing an airplane in the trunk
The so-called terrestrial mothership serves as both a transport vehicle and an energy center, solving the traditional problems of mobility, storage and energy. It functions as a mobile home, autonomously powering and deploying the aerial module.
The ground module’s six-wheel active suspension system minimizes vibrations, ensuring safe transportation of the air module across varying terrain and weather conditions.
The Xpeng Aeroht electric vehicle features a three-axle, six-wheel design with 6×6 all-wheel drive and rear steering, offering excellent carrying capacity and off-road capability.
The vehicle’s minimalist, cybermechanical design evokes a lunar exploration rover, with a length of 5.5 meters, a width of 2 meters and a height of 2 meters, allowing access to standard parking spaces and underground garages.
While the air module is a six-rotor, dual-duct eVTOL structure, constructed of carbon fiber for lightweight durability, and features a 270° panoramic cockpit for an expansive flight view.
Xpeng Aeroht has a planned annual capacity of 10,000 units, the factory will focus on the production of the air module for the Land Aircraft Carrier and is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2025, with deliveries expected from 2026.
