During the Golden Globes this Sunday, Sebastian Stan, the actor of Bucky, the Winter Soldier; He made a curious reference to an eighties film after the multiple comments from the Thunderbolts fandom with comparisons such as the film being Suicide Squad but from Marvel Studios.
Sebastian explained what makes Thunderbolts unique and different from other Marvel super people teams and other productions, expressing that “there is no other Marvel group that we can be compared to, it is its own thing. I like The Breakfast Club, that’s the best way to describe it. A couple of misfits who, hopefully, won’t kill each other.”
Thunderbolts is about to be released on May 2, 2025 in all theaters in the world and although it may not end up being like the comedy-drama The Breakfast Club, it seems that what Stan compared both films is in the union of the characters , to some extent rebellious; thanks to his personal conflicts that will be explored in the film.

Thunderbolts*: What does the strange asterisk in the title of the film mean?
As some fans may have noticed, after the Thunderbolts letters in the movie logo you can see an asterisk
while in the trailer more emphasis is placed on this symbol, showing it seconds after the name of the film appears, so it is obvious that it is an important detail.
There are several theories about this, however, the most logical is that it will be a name change in the future, which would explain the simple design of the letters and the logo of the film, surely this will be announced in the final trailer. We don’t know and we will surely have to wait a few months to see it.
The strongest rumors suggest that the new title, or subtitle (personally we think it will be a subtitle) will be “Dark Avengers”, which makes sense because number one: they are operating within the newly purchased Avengers headquarters, and number two: In the comics the same thing happened with the squad in 2012, when its name was also replaced by this other one.
