Through a press note released in the last few hours via social media, Splash Damage has announced that it has canceled the development of Transformers: Reactivate, the cooperative video game announced just over two years ago.
“This means we will shift our resources to focus on other projects,” the statement read. “Unfortunately, despite our measures, several positions within the firm are potentially at risk of redundancy.”
It should be noted that no jobs have been cut at this time, however it is very likely that Splash Damage will have to lay off an unknown number of employees. As for the reason for the cancellation of Transformers: Reactivate, however, this has not been disclosed.
