A new year begins and with it our pleas begin again for some video games that are lost in action to finally show signs of life. After all, there are several experiences that were announced many years ago that we simply don’t know when they will arrive.
From long-awaited sequels to new IPs and even some returns, there are many missing titles. This 2025 should be the year in which, even if it is not launched, at least they show us new advances or news to know that they are indeed good and still underway.
Marvel’s Wolverine is one of those video games that we know nothing about
Since it was announced in 2021 we have had absolutely no official news about Wolverine. The only thing we know about it is unfortunately the result of a massive leak suffered by Insomniac Games where several playable sections of the Wolverine title were stolen.

The same leak also indicated that the release date of this game would be sometime in 2026, so it is time for it to reveal more of its face. Either official gameplay already well polished and finished or at least a new trailer. Furthermore, some rumors indicate that it was canceled after the leak, so some news will leave us calm that this is not true.
Wonder Woman
Once again we are faced with a superhero game that just refuses to come out or show itself: the Wonder Woman game. This Monolith Productions title only showed us a small teaser in 2021 before completely falling into obscurity. We just hope it hasn’t been forgotten.

Monolith already showed that it is capable of giving us engaging gameplay in medieval environments with its Middle-Earth series. That is why we were excited that they were given the reins of a video game for the Amazon. Unfortunately there are no traces of her. We just hope she wasn’t another heroine who falls to the trend of video games as a service.
Pragmata is one of the video games that Capcom forgot
Although Capcom already has Monster Hunter Wilds ready for 2025, in 2020 they announced a completely new IP called Pragmata. From what has been seen it will be a story of a kind of astronaut who must protect a little girl with powers. Although it looks very good, we don’t know what day we will see it.

Since its announcement in 2020, it was scheduled for 2022, then it was delayed to 2023 and finally that year they released a trailer where they delayed it indefinitely. However, Capcom says it’s still on the way and hasn’t been canceled. With the streak that Capcom has in its video games, we are excited about what they are preparing with this installment. We only hope that 2025 is when they deign to give you more news.
Silksong
Perhaps we are wasting virtual ink writing this but it is true that like many fans, we are waiting for Silksong to come out of development limbo to reach our consoles. It’s time for Team Cherry to give us news about this spin-off sequel to the beloved Hollow Knight.

By 2025, it will have been 6 years since its development was announced. While its last formal preview was during an Xbox showcase in 2022 where it was revealed that it would be one of Game Pass’s day one video games. Almost three years after their last trailer, it is time for it to either be released or at least show more of what they have been doing all this time.
KOTOR Remake
Knights of the Old Republic often comes up as one of the best RPGs and one of Bioware’s best works. When it was announced that the story of Darth Revan would have a remake, the industry was filled with excitement. Unfortunately four years later there is no trace of him.

The only thing that was known over the years is that the development team changed from Aspyr to Saber Interactive so its release date could be further away. In fact, a Bloomberg report in 2022 said that it could come out in 2025. However, as things are going, it seems that the most we would have will be a new advance.
