The information available to us on the Until Dawn film, one of the most beloved horror titles of the last generation, is scarce apart from the very precious news regarding the release date of the film in cinemas around the world. Given that “day x” is increasingly missing, the screenwriters are gradually revealing their cards regarding the project.
One of the latest information made known concerns a central aspect of the work: the plot of the film. Until today, many of us have taken it for granted that the film would fully reflect the plot and characters of the original video game but, against all odds, this was an error of judgment.
As reported by the TechRadar newspaper, the only confirmed character coming from the original video game would be Dr. Hill, played in both cases by Peter Stormare: all the other characters will apparently be new. This means that the film will indeed be set in the narrative universe of Until Dawn, but that the story told will not be the same as the one present in the video game.
To find out more about the plot of the film, we will necessarily have to be patient: the official announcements will not be long in coming in conjunction with the release of the film in cinemas.
