Crunchyroll has announced that the second season of Solo Leveling will soon be available on the platform. Titled -Arise from the Shadow-, this new narrative arc will debut starting next January 4th. A new episode will be broadcast every Saturday starting at 6.30pm (Italian time).

Adapted from the best-selling Korean web novel written by Chugong, Solo Leveling follows Sung Jinwoo, the world’s weakest hunter. After being brutally slaughtered by monsters in a high-level dungeon, Jinwoo is back with the System, a program that only he can see that levels him up in every way. Now, he is inspired to uncover the secrets of his powers and the dungeon that created them.
Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise From the Shadow- Synopsis:
More than ten years have passed since gates leading to another dimension began to appear around the world. The battles between the magical beasts that inhabit the dungeons and the human hunters who have awakened the abilities to fight them don’t appear to be ending anytime soon. Normally, a hunter’s skills do not change upon awakening, and their rank never increases. However, Sung Jinwoo, known as “humanity’s weakest hunter,” gained the ability to level up in battle during a double dungeon raid.
After completing a job-changing mission that earned him the title of “Shadow Monarch” and commanding an army of shadows, Jinwoo heads into battle in search of the ingredients of the Elixir of Life to save his ailing mother .
Solo Leveling is animated by the acclaimed A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online). The series is directed by Shunsuke Nakashige (Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld).
