Microsoft and LG have announced a partnership which takes shape in the publication of the Xbox app on the new Gaming Portal of LG Smart TVs, in this way it will be possible to access the Xbox Cloud Gaming service directly from your television.
“We are excited to announce the partnership with Xbox that aims to enrich the gaming experience on LG Smart TVs by offering a broad selection of titles,” said Chris Jo, senior vice president of platform business at LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “Gaming Portal will offer users a seamless and easy way to enhance the gaming experience on their TVs.”
In this way, owners of LG Smart TVs will soon be able to explore the Gaming Portal and have direct access to hundreds of streaming games via their subscription to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service.
“The partnership with LG will help users make gaming even easier through the new Gaming Portal on LG Smart TVs,” said Lori Wright, Corporate Vice President of Xbox. “We are fortunate to have a great partner like LG who will bring Xbox Cloud Gaming to even more gamers, allowing new and returning Xbox users to find their favorite games and play together with their friends.”
There is no news at the moment regarding the availability times of the service, which may vary depending on the country and the LG Smart TV model.
