In addition to the surprise announcement that has to do with the release date of the second season of The Last of Us, PlayStation Productions also revealed that Helldivers will have its respective film adaptation and that Sony Pictures is involved in it.
The thing is that beyond this announcement nothing else is known about this film adaptation of the game from Arrowhead Game Studios. The only thing that is a reality is that, in some way, PlayStation seeks to capitalize on the success that Helldivers 2 achieved, which has not been easy to maintain.
We must remember that there are many players who still complain about having to use a PlayStation Network account to play and that this should not be the case. Now, it’s also important to note that content updates and the community more or less sustain the game, so something big must be on the way for the brand to stay relevant.
