The glittering Golden Globes 2025 ceremony concluded at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles, celebrating the best of film and television. Hosted by the brilliant stand-up comedian Nikki Glaser, the evening saw the triumph of big names and new promises. The award for Best Drama Film went to The Brutalist, directed by Brady Corbet, who also received the award for Best Director. Adrien Brody, protagonist of the film, was awarded Best Drama Actor.
In the Comedy/Musical category, Jacques Audiard’s Emilia Pérez swept up the awards, winning the title of Best Comedy/Musical Film and Best International Film, as well as awards for Best Director and Zoe Saldana’s performance as Best Supporting Actress.
Demi Moore won Best Actress in a Comedy/Musical Film for The Substance, while Sebastian Stan won Best Actor for A Different Man. Fernanda Torres was awarded Best Drama Actress for I’m Still Here.
In the television sector, the Shōgun series won the award for Best Drama Series, while Hacks, written by Lucia Aniello, won the title of Best Comedy/Musical Series. The miniseries Baby Reindeer was recognized as the Best Miniseries or TV Movie.
In the “Special Awards” category Viola Davis stands out with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement, while Ted Danson received the Carol Burnett Award for his contribution to television.
