Jin Sakai is the only survivor of his clan, after the Mongol invasion of the island of Tsushima in 1274. The young man will have to face different Mongol guerrillas, known for their ferocious and voracious appetite for blood.

The sequel to Ghost of Tsushima was announced as Ghost of Yōtei, it will be set 300 years after the battles of Sakai. The adventure will take place in Hokkaido in 1603.
