2025 will not be just any year, especially for The Pokémon Company, who have established that this will be the year of Eevee. This means we’ll see multiple products focused on the beloved pocket creature, and fans have even gone so far as to point out that this is just a hint for the future of the series.
Through an official statement, The Pokémon Company has indicated that 2025 will be the year of Eevee. This means that the Pokémon will be the focus of multiple TCG cards, as well as plushies that can already be found online, the Pokémon Center, and in different locations.
In the case of the stuffed animals, we will have eight new ones. One for Eevee and each of its evolutions, with the strange exception of Flareon. For its part, the evolutionary family of this Pokémon will be the center of attention on multiple cards for the TCG that we can find in the Prismatic Evolutions expansion, which is about to go on sale. At the moment it is unknown if Pokémon TCG Pocket will receive something similar.
Not content with this, fans believe that this means that this year we will see a new evolution for Eevee. Let’s remember that Pokémon Legends: ZA will be available in 2025, so some hope that this title will allow us to have a ghost, fighting, or some other type Eevee, something that has been rumored for years. However, at the moment there is no official information on this particular point.
Remember, 2025 is the year of Eevee, so The Pokémon Company has several surprises on the horizon. On related topics, this is the first expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket. Likewise, Pokémon will have a collaboration with the creator of Wallace and Gromit.
