TriggerHeart EXELICA Enhanced will launch on Nintendo Switch on April 24, 2025 in Japan, as announced by developer Cosmo Machia. The price will be 4,950 yen for the physical edition and 4,500 yen for the digital one. A “Complete” bundle will also be available for 9,900 yen, which includes TriggerHeart EXELICA and the EXELICA Enhanced version, a two-disc soundtrack CD, an “Enhanced” player’s guide, and a collector’s box.
The shoot ’em up is a port of the title of the same name for PlayStation 2, published by the publisher Alchemist on March 26, 2009 in Japan. Adds additional elements to the original TriggerHeart EXELICA, already available for Nintendo Switch, including Faintear as a new playable character, an opening cinematic produced by PAWORKS with a theme song sung by Ayane, an “Enhanced” story mode with additional high-resolution CG , improvements to character balance, training mode, leaderboards, vertical screen support, and more.
