5 – Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is among our favorite video games of 2024
One of our favorite games of 2024 curiously arrived in the first months of the year: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which kept us busy for quite some time.
The second part of the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy really feels like a titanic video game. Well, not only does it give us a fairly extensive story that remains very interesting at all times, it also has several extra activities that kept us glued to the control.

4 – The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
The first adventure of the saga starring Princess Zelda was one of the most pleasant surprises of the year. Who would think that we don’t even miss Link while playing.
Here we also find a combination of the past and present of these video games, because although in appearance it is like the Zelda of yesteryear, in gameplay it is quite similar to Breath of the Wild and Tear of the Kingdom with the immense freedom it gives to players. .

In our opinion, something went unnoticed in several ceremonies and even in popular discussion. However, it is one of the most engaging video games of 2024 and one that you should try.
3 – Dragon Quest III HD-2D is a great example of how to revive classic video games
Dragon Quest III was already one of the must-see RPG classics, but this 2024 they decided to give it a cat’s hand that went much further. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake not only presents us with its fantastic world and characters in a beautiful graphic section that maintains its nostalgic factor. He also made several changes that make it even better and more enjoyable.

2 – Astro Bot
Astro Bot practically came by surprise and perhaps no one expected much from it. However, Team Asobi really shined with this creative platformer. 1 – Silent Hill 2
We admit that when the first trailers for the Silent Hill 2 remake came out we were among its biggest critics. After all, its graphics seemed low-budget and what they released in terms of gameplay made it look like a Resident Evil clone.
However, Bloober Team shut us up by giving us what in our opinion was the best game of 2024. All thanks to a very careful and respectful reimagination of one of the best games in history. The task of doing it justice was titanic but they achieved it by considerably expanding the experience with new sections that were just as terrifying, new scenes to get to know their characters.

We can’t leave out its small additional sidequests, as well as a series of new puzzles that put our neurons to work. Not to mention greater immersion thanks to the DualSense that takes us deeper into the terrifying town.
Perhaps the sin why they have not taken it more into account in certain ceremonies is because it is a remake. But when we talk about one this good we can’t ignore the great job Bloober Team did in reviving one of the best horror video games for a modern audience.
