As we get closer to the inevitable reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2, more and more leaks of the console are coming to light. Now, on this occasion what appears to be the dock of this console has been revealed, something that raises more doubts regarding the veracity of all this information.
Through his social networks, the insider known as NextHandheld shared what appears to be the Switch 2 dock. Although the initial revelation was received with many doubts, the user responded with new photos of this hardware, something that many thought were images created with artificial intelligence, but they appear to be real.
Here we can see what appears to be a Switch 2, giving us a look at the slot where the new Joy-Con will be connected. Along with this, the second image shows us the back of the new dock, which looks incomplete. If NextHandheld managed to get its hands on original hardware, it clearly doesn’t represent the final product, and is closer to what we can see in prototypes that have leaked in the past.
Despite all these leaks, Nintendo remains silent. The Japanese company plans to reveal the Switch 2 before the current fiscal year comes to an end, that is, before March 31, 2025, but at the moment there is no more information about it. On related topics, the name and logo of the Switch 2 are leaked. Likewise, the reveal of the console would happen sooner than expected.
Author’s Note:
These types of images are always hard to believe. It’s one thing to see poor quality hardware in a factory, and another for a person to have in their possession what appears to be a prototype of a console. While it appears that this is not artificial intelligence, nothing rules out the possibility that the parts were created by a 3D printer.
