With Nintendo still not sharing official information about the Switch’s successor, leaks have increased considerably in recent weeks. Although the veracity of these details is in doubt, an analyst has pointed out that all this would cause the reveal of the Switch 2 to happen sooner than expected.
According to Serkan Toto, analyst, Nintendo would be aware of all the leaks related to the Switch 2 that have emerged in recent weeks. In this way, during an interview with Eurogamer, Toto pointed out that the Big N could bring forward the reveal of its next console to the beginning of January. This is what he said about it:
“Nintendo won’t have much time in January, so a possible announcement at the beginning of the month could make sense. You can bet that Nintendo is aware of all the leaks and is not happy about them, even if some of them turn out to be made up. In fact, things are getting so bad with these leaks that they could cause Nintendo to release information sooner than planned.
Let’s remember that the latest leaks of the Switch 2 have shown us the console’s logo, as well as its name, and even more details about the new Joy-Con. Nothing has been confirmed by Nintendo, but sources assure that everything is real, and agree with much of what had previously been reported about the console.
We can only wait for Nintendo to share more official information about the Switch 2, something that, according to Serkan Toto, would happen at the beginning of January 2025. On related topics, they leak the name and logo of the Switch 2. Likewise, the console would use an NVIDIA RTX.

The reveal of the Switch 2 will be something Nintendo announces unexpectedly. Probably, a couple of days before we will see a small teaser, but it will be something that not many expect. I just hope the reception is positive. As they say, the first impression is the most important.
