On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of The King of Fighters series, SNK announced the foundation of KOF Studio. This is a new development studio that will continue the decades-old tradition of Japanese fighting games.
“In conjunction with the 30th anniversary of The King of Fighters, we are pleased to announce the founding of KOF Studio,” reads the brief press release. “KOF Studio will proudly carry on the thirty-year tradition of SNK fighting games, while also bringing with it a new revolution!”
Among the first works to be published under this new label we find Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, due out on PC and consoles in 2025, but also the action RPG Samurai Spirits.
