Video game adaptations: Did they do better than movies based on comic books?
Although apparently video games could be seen more above comics in terms of film adaptations, not everything was as brilliant for this medium as it seems, since although there were quite a few that were quite successful, some were a resounding failure.
The main examples of these video game adaptations are Sonic 3, which shortly before its release was just announced by Rotten Tomatoes with 87%, a figure well above the average of 6 that its prequels had had; Also on the series side came season two of Arcane with 100%, who was a great success among fans on top of everything; but finally we had resounding failures like the Borderlands movie with a very low 10%.
