This year the game that has managed to become a multiplayer sensation was Helldivers 2, developed by Arrowhead Studios that in its first week of launch filled the servers, to the point that they had to be expanded to expand. This motivated PlayStation to announce a special edition PS5 controller, which postponed its release for unknown reasons, but the doubts ended recently.
PlayStation has announced the release date of the special DualSense inspired by the game. This thematic control will be available from February 6, 2025, with the option to pre-order it from December 20, 2024 on the brand’s official website. The exclusive design combines visual elements from the universe of democracy such as military tones and details that evoke the game’s intense cooperative battles.

Helldivers 2 is a third-person shooting game focused on cooperative combat for up to four players. Set in a futuristic universe filled with giant insects, hostile aliens, and deadly robots, players take on the role of elite soldiers tasked with defending “Super Earth Democracy.” With an emphasis on strategy, coordination and survival, the game promises a challenging and adrenaline-filled experience.
The special DualSense not only stands out with its unique design, but also includes all the advanced features of the standard controller, such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, perfect for immersing yourself in intense missions. With the controller’s arrival in February, players will have the opportunity to enhance both their experience and their collection of exclusive PlayStation accessories, just as happened with the 30th Anniversary Edition.
