For some time now Nintendo confirmed that in 2025 we would see the new generation of Pokémon which for the moment is simply called Legends ZA. Now an alleged leak comes with several details about what fans can expect from this next stage for pocket monsters.
The new information emerged from an anonymous leaker on X and indicates that the Pokémon Legends ZA generation will bring back the ‘Mega Evolutions’ of generation X and Y, albeit with some changes. It is also indicated that it will not be completely open world, but that Lumiose City, the city where it will happen, will be very large. In addition, there are between 140 and 150 secondary missions to complete.
Among some of the monsters mentioned with their mega evolution are Dragonite, Froakie, Milotic, Togekiss, Tyrantrum, Zangoose, Sylveon, Skarmory, Fennekin and Kingdra to name a few. It is worth mentioning that the leak does not show what they will look like or the steps necessary to achieve these evolutions.

The same leak also contains information on the supposed release date of Pokémon ZA. It is supposedly planned to be released on May 16, 2025. Remember to take this information with some caution as it is not yet official from Nintendo.
What do we know about Pokémon ZA?
The reality is that Nintendo remains quite secretive regarding Pokémon ZA. The only thing we know about it is that it will be the next generation and that it will arrive sometime in 2025. Outside of that the only thing we have are rumors, which if true would have already released juicy information.
In addition to the mega evolutions, it is said that its gameplay will be quite similar to that seen in Legends: Arceus with a tour of Scarlet and Violet. It is also said that although it will come to Nintendo Switch, it could also be a launch title for the long-awaited Nintendo Switch 2. This could also make it finally have good graphics, something that has been criticized a lot in its most recent deliveries. Would you like all this to be true?
