As reported by Variety, horror director James Wan’s production company Atomic Monster has acquired the television rights to Pacific Drive, which will therefore become the subject of a new TV series.
Released at the beginning of the year on PC, PS4 and PS5 (here’s our review), Pacific Drive takes players to a mysterious exclusion zone in the northwestern area of the United States of America. Alone with your own car, to be modified and upgraded, you must collect resources and investigate the anomalies scattered throughout the area, revealing the mysteries that lie hidden in this hostile and unpredictable environment.
As for the TV series, this has not yet found a platform or network on which to air, but we know that Michael Clear, Rob Hackett and James Wan himself will be the executive producers of the small screen adaptation.
