As part of the second day of Jump Festa 25 taking place in Japan, during a panel dedicated to My Hero Academia, it was revealed that the final season of this anime will premiere during the fall 2025 season.
The issue here is that now, the anime will have a lot to tell since it will focus mainly on concluding the story of the manga which, by the way, came to an end in 2024.
In case you are worried that the quality of the animation could be compromised, we can assure you that this will not be the case as it was confirmed that part of the team in charge of the series returns, from its chief director Kenji Nagasaki, director Naomi Nakayama and the supervisor of the script Yousuke Kuroda.
We will also have character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima, as well as music composition by Yuki Hayashi and the rest of the Studio Bones team.
The question that remains is how many episodes this anime based on the original work of Kouhei Horikoshi will consist of. We will have to be very attentive to everything that is announced in the coming months.

How many seasons does My Hero Academia have?
So far, My Hero Academia has 7 seasons. However, with the recent announcement at Jump Festa 25 we can tell you that it will close with 8, which is quite a lot.
Likewise, we will have to wait for the series to really end like this and not have some kind of ending in the form of a movie or an hour-long episode that is divided into two parts, just like Attack on Titan did at the time.
Now, My Hero Academia fans will have to wait for the eighth season to fully fulfill its task of exciting everyone. Don’t miss this and more news in the TierraGamer Feed on Google News. Follow the conversation in our Discord channel.
