We live in a time where exclusives are no longer so exclusive. Xbox has come to the conclusion that they need to port their games to other platforms to be profitable, and now it has been pointed out that PlayStation would be doing the same with LEGO Horizon Adventures, which would have been a commercial failure.
According to justplayit, PlayStation would be considering bringing LEGO Horizon Adventures to the Xbox Series X|S during the first months of 2025. Although there is no specific date, sources assure that this is only a matter of time.
Let’s remember that LEGO Horizon Adventures arrived on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC last November. However, the commercial performance of the game was not what Sony expected. In this way, the idea that this installment is one of the first titles to reach Xbox consoles does not sound like a crazy idea.
For now, we can only wait to see what will happen with LEGO Horizon Adventures. On related topics, you can check out our review of this title here. Likewise, we interviewed the creators of the game.
Author’s Note:
It is clear that the concept of exclusives is disappearing. However, each company is moving forward at its own pace. While LEGO Horizon Adventures looks like it will be coming to Xbox, it will most likely be some time before we see another PlayStation title on Microsoft consoles.
