The long-awaited moment finally arrives: the first trailer for Karate Kid: Legends, the new Sony Pictures film directed by Jonathan Entwistle (The End of the F***ing World) has just been published on Sony’s official social channels. screenplay by Rob Lieber (Peter Rabbit).
Nel cast oltre a Jackie Chan e Ralph Macchio anche Ben Wang (American Born Chinese), Joshua Jackson (Dawson’s Creek, Doctor Odyssey), Sadie Stanley (Kim Possible) e Ming-Na Wen (Mulan, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Mandalorian).

After a family tragedy, kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) is forced to leave his home in Beijing and move to New York with his mother. Li Fong tries to free himself from his past and fit in with his new classmates. Even though he doesn’t want to fight, trouble seems to reach him everywhere: in fact, to help a new friend of his in difficulty, he is forced to take part in a karate competition. However, his skills are not enough. At this point, Li Fong’s kung fu teacher, Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), turns to the first “Karate Kid,” Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio), for help. The boy will learn a new way to fight by fusing the styles of the two masters into one for a martial arts showdown.
