On the occasion of Jump Festa ’25, the first image and the July 2025 premiere for the second season of the anime based on the KAIJU No. 8 manga by Naoya Matsumoto was revealed. The anime will air on TV Tokyo and affiliated Japanese television networks.
Crunchyroll will also simulcast the new season. Kōki Uchiyama will join the cast as Gen Harumi in the second season.
A compilation film of the first season will be shown in 32 Japanese theaters for three weeks only starting March 28 and will include the new original episode “Hoshina’s Day Off.” The film will be shown “worldwide,” with more details coming soon.
