In an interview the head of the studio, the director of Hi-Fi Rush and the project manager talked about the possibilities of a sequel. Here they said that at Tango Gameworks they love this IP very much, both the characters and the world they created. While they do think about a sequel, they are also considering other possibilities.
‘We view a sequel very positively. However we are not yet at a state where we can specifically say that that is what we will do’ said the head of Tango Gameworks. For their part, the game director and the project manager added that as a studio they want to try new things so as not to stagnate. In fact they compared Chai’s Adventure and The Evil Within to show that in the past they tried very different things.
