2024 recorded many events and events related to video games, both from console manufacturers such as Nintendo, Microsoft (Xbox) or Sony (PlayStation) and other publishers and developers that are worth remembering.
Something that marked the past year is that due to the economic crisis and other factors, several studios closed their doors, and in other cases they ended up dissolving to join larger companies.
In 2025 it also came to light that the video game market does not accept all multiplayer proposals based or not on services, especially when they do not offer their own distinctive elements. Sadly, Concord is an example of what was said before.
We recommend: 2025 could be a great year for video games.
Not only did it demonstrate the lack of a novelty factor, but it also led to the closure of the company that created it, Firewalk Studios, and losses of tens of millions of dollars.

Sony’s PlayStation division, as well as other video game companies, are likely to take note of what happened. But as we noted at the beginning, a lot happened over the course of 366 days — yes, 2024 was a leap year — that is worth remembering.
That is why we took on the task of remembering what we considered most relevant and was able to leave a mark in the minds of many players. Surely some will remember other events.
