From October 11, 2024, with immediate effect, some managers of Stellantis will change, who remain under the control of CEO Carlos Tavares. This is a small revolution to address the group’s sales crisis, which also concerns the Portuguese manager, who leaves the position of CEO Stellantis at the end of his mandate as CEO, at the beginning of 2026.
New Stellantis appointments
Jean-Philippe Learnato, in addition to maintaining the role of CEO of Pro One, leaves the leadership of Alfa Romeo to take on the role of Chief Operating Officer Enlarged Europe of Stellantis, replacing Uwe Hochgeschurtz. Learned is responsible for all the group’s brands in the European market, a very important role.
Santo Ficili is the new CEO of Alfa Romeo and Maserati
Alfa Romeo, together with Maserati, was entrusted to Santo Ficili, current head of Stellantis Italia. Davide Grasso, on the other hand, leaves the helm of Maserati due to the brand’s poor performance, with sales lower than expected and difficulties in the transition to electric.
In North America, Antonio Filosa was named Chief Operating Officer, also maintaining leadership of Jeep. Filosa will have the task of relaunching Stellantis in the United States and Canada, two problematic markets for the group, trying to replicate the successes achieved in South America, where the brand has seen significant growth in terms of market shares and revenues.
