Great return of one of the musicals most loved by the public which also conquered Italian theaters last season. Peter Pan – The Musical, by popular demand, is ready to once again accompany its spectators on an exciting journey to Neverland. Based on the novel by James Matthew Barrie, directed by Maurizio Colombi and an excellent soundtrack by Edoardo Bennato, Peter Pan – The Musical will return to the stage with an extraordinary new cast in a long tour of the best Italian theatres.
Big news for the 24-25 tour is the return to the stage of the original Captain Hook or Claudio Castrogiovanni, an extraordinarily talented actor who had already fascinated the public in 2006 with his ironic and captivating interpretation. His stage presence and charisma will once again bring Peter Pan’s fearsome enemy to life.
At his side, giving the face to the child who didn’t want to grow up will be the young performer Luca Nencetti. A highly experienced actor, singer, dancer and acrobat, Luca will be able to give new light and vigor to the courageous and cheeky protagonist of this timeless adventure.
Always loved by the public, Martha Rossi, former talent of Amici di Maria De Filippi, will return to the stage in the role of the sweet Wendy. Historic and beloved interpreter of the little girl with the tender blue eyes, Martha will once again amaze her numerous fans.
Renato Converso, appreciated actor and comedian, in the role of the clumsy and friendly Spugna will be the perfect companion of Captain Hook, ready to carry out his every order. Raffaella Alterio will bring to the stage the liveliness and curiosity of Michael, Wendy’s younger brother while Laura Fiorini will play John, Wendy’s older brother, with his sense of responsibility and desire to grow.
Alongside them, nine other sensational performers will animate the fairy world of Peter Pan: Carlotta Sibilla (Tiger Lily), Elisa Giunta (Bombolone), Sofia Pavani (Pennino), Sara Portaro (Pochino), Manuel Primerano (Gemello), Domiziano Toniolo (Gemello ), Lorenzo Tognocchi (Storyteller and Captain Hook cover), Davide Najjar (Ensemble – Pirata), Filippo Tampieri (Ensemble – Pirata), Gian Maria Picciau (Ensemble – Pirata).
Presented by Alveare Produzioni, PETER PAN – The Musical is a surprising success spanning 18 years. Since 2006, when it debuted for the first time, the show has already enchanted over a million spectators with more than 1000 performances and has been awarded prestigious awards such as the Gassman Prize and three Agis Golden Tickets. The last tour, which debuted at the Arcimboldi Theater in December 2023, recorded numerous sold outs and enthusiastic ovations in every city. Awards that testify to the public’s affection for this successful production.
The beating heart of the show is the soundtrack itself: an extraordinary musical journey into the fantasy world of Peter Pan, with some of Edoardo Bennato’s most famous songs taken from the legendary 1980 album Sono solo canzonette and with other songs such as “Il rock di Captain Hook”, “The Fairy”, “Viva la mamma” and many others, up to the famous “Neverland”. The songs were rearranged by the singer-songwriter himself for the theater show, in addition to the inclusion of the previously unreleased “Che fear che fa Capitan Hook”.
Peter Pan the musical is ready to revive the magic of childhood and transport the audience into a world of timeless adventures also with the many special effects such as Peter Pan’s flight, the use of laser technologies for the character of Tinkerbell, the impressive sets that will magically transport the artists from Wendy, Michael and John’s bedroom to the refuge of the Lost Children and the colorful cartoon-style costumes that will give the finishing touch to what is not a simple theatrical show, but a real dream to share with friends and family.
