A former security guard of Ye (47), also known as Kanye West, has sued the rapper. The man in question, Jonathan Monroe, allegedly worked for Ye for a few months without receiving a salary.
Jonathan was hired in August 2021 to provide full-time security for Ye’s Malibu home, according to entertainment website TMZ. He said he worked 36 to 50 hours a week until he was fired in October that year. According to Monroe, this happened without him receiving a salary. Moreover, he claims that he was only fired after complaining about the lack of salary.
According to TMZ, which has obtained Monroe’s complaint, the former security guard is seeking substantial damages and his back salary with interest. Ye has not yet commented on the matter.
