Ironmouse broke Twitch records and supported a good cause
Ironmouse’s feat was for a good cause, since half of the money raised would go to the Immunodeficiency Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life of people who suffer from a primary immunodeficiency through of fostering a community empowered by advocacy, education and research.
The streamer Ironmouse suffers from common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) and has taken advantage of the reach she has as a VTuber to raise awareness and support people affected by some type of immunodeficiency.
