Marvel’s equivalent of the Man of Steel reaches its full potential

The well-known Marvel hero who goes by the name of Hyperion has been considered for quite some time a reflection of Superman in the Marvel Universe. However, a latest upgrade on him has made him even more powerful than the Man of Steel. Unlike Superman’s Kryptonian origin in the DC comics, Hyperion is an Eternal whose roots lie on Earth, but it is actually his alien background that made him so powerful.
Marvel’s equivalent of the Man of Steel reaches its full potential
In the comic Venomverse Reborn #4, Marvel fully unleashes Hyperion’s horrible power in a surprising fight against Nighthawk, another character who has similarities to Batman in The House of Ideas. In this case, Nighthawk reveals that he has used a large part of his fortune to acquire a symbiote that was lost in deep space. Marvel confirms that he wanted it to increase his powers and thus gain a strategic advantage in combat.
As Hyperion fights as hard as he can, he is eventually overtaken by the power of Venom, who joins the rest of the Squadron Supreme in the symbiote hive mind. In this way, Marvel promises to show the most powerful version of Venom that has been seen in the multiverse, as well as a group that will remember the Justice League in its symbiote aspect.
Hyperion is the last member Nighthawk manages to poison, but the repercussions of this remain unknown. Additionally, their symbiote connection creates a perfect unity between the former heroes of the Squadron Supreme.
Hyperion is immensely powerful and has great feats achieved in Marvel. He already demonstrated that he was capable of killing the Hulk with his heat vision as well as being able to pierce Galactus’s head thanks to his speed and strength. In this new case proposed by Marvel, Hyperion manages to surpass the hero who could have inspired him.
The Venom symbiote’s potential to unite multiple hosts creates a version of the Squadron Supreme that is synchronized as if it were a single entity. It’s possible that a fully unleashed Superman like the one seen in Injustice would be able to defeat this Hyperion in his Venom form, but he wouldn’t stand a chance against the entire Venom-style Squadron Supreme working in unison.
Readers were already aware that it would take something truly special to make this version of Venom the strongest in the entire multiverse, but Nighthawk has been able to unleash the potential of the Squadron Supreme by more than living up to expectations.
The comic Venomverse Reborn #4 is now available.
