Actress Sarah Hyland has been sued by her former manager Richard Konigsberg, with whom she worked for fifteen years. The American entertainment site TMZ reports this on the basis of legal documents.
The 33-year-old Hyland broke with Konigsberg in April this year. According to her ex-manager, the actress fired him so she wouldn’t have to pay him. Konigsberg claims Hyland paid him ten percent of everything she earned while he was her manager.
Konigsberg now claims that Hyland still has to pay him royalties from the income she generates from her role in the popular sitcom Modern Family. Hyland appeared as Haley Dunphy for eleven seasons. Hyland allegedly told Konigsberg to stop paying that money. She would only pay him ten percent of the income she received from a theater production called Little Shop of Horrors.
The former manager does not stop there. He wants the court to rule that Hyland must continue to pay him ten percent of her income from Modern Family.
