Among the exalted masterpieces, the statue of Paolina Borghese is the center of a narrative that highlights the ability of art to strike the imagination and, at the same time, to raise awareness and excite. It is the video created by frame by frame, a leading media company in post-production and visual effects for cinema, television, advertising, corporate, art and immersive reality, for the awareness campaign ‘Prevention is our masterpiece’ by Komen Italy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, promoted on the occasion of the International Breast Cancer Prevention Month. The story of frame by frame and Komen Italia has obtained recognition from the Advertising Progress Foundation.
The video, presented yesterday at the Mic headquarters, has as its protagonist the masterpiece statue by Antonio Canova exhibited at the Galleria Borghese in Rome – chosen as the symbol of the Komen Italia campaign, which for years has raised awareness of the topic of prevention through art and beauty Italian – and collects images of the major Italian monuments, museums and buildings which, during the 2023 campaign, lit up in pink to invite attention to breast cancer, explains a note.
“The collaboration with Komen Italia – declares Lorenzo Foschi, founder of frame by frame – was born from the desire to give our artistic contribution to a campaign that aims to inform and raise awareness of an important topic linked to women’s health. Together we wanted to tell the link between the ability of works of art to strike the imagination and the soul and Komen Italia’s ability to raise public awareness on the topic of prevention which, as the campaign claim states, is its masterpiece We are safe that this campaign will be able, precisely through the celebration of the artistic heritage, to enlighten many on the fundamental contribution of prevention to collective health”. For the occasion, the frame by frame headquarters in via Cola di Rienzo in Rome will also be colored pink to reinforce the message of the campaign.
