In the PC community, where players build and configure their equipment to their liking, modders have earned a special place because, letting their imagination and talent fly, they create true works of gamer art. And a few days ago, one of the best-known PC modders presented his latest creation: a PC gamer lamp.
This is a build that the modder MXC Builds presented on Reddit, also sharing a video in which he provides all the details of it. As indicated, the specifications of the equipment are: R7 7700, ASUS Strix B650E-I Gaming, ASUS ProArt 4070 Ti, Cooler Master V SFX GOLD 850W, Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5, Crucial P.5 2TB, ID-Cooling IS55. Additionally, in the video he indicates that among other materials, he used plywood for the hardware panel, adhesive tape along the cut lines, and also created the mounting brackets himself, which he obtained via 3D printing.
All of this, together with the materials, means that the project ended in this PC lamp with a cost of $3,000 dollars.

A creation that generated surprise among the community, who in addition to celebrating the originality, once again highlight the talent of this modder to generate visually beautiful, as well as functional, projects. In his YouTube video, a player tells him: “It’s a master class project! I was very impressed! The top fan is crying out for a Noctua brown color, IMHO,” while another rightly responds, “What a work of art!”
Something that, to close, is repeated in the Reddit comments, where a player comments: “That’s really amazing, OP! I really like the design. If you make another version, maybe you can try making the fins out of metal and integrating them as a heat sink for the CPU.” “One of the most original and beautiful constructions I have seen in a long time, good job! In addition, there are good photos of said construction, which make it look even better,” comments another.
Modder builds a fully functional wooden gaming PC, which includes an RTX 4090 and an i7 12700KF
As we indicated, building a gaming PC not only requires knowledge of hardware, but also often good taste and even art. Something that is seen, for example, thanks to cabinet modders, for whom designing or modifying these elements has become a passion. One of them is YouTuber MXC Builds, who has built a gaming PC system almost entirely out of wood, including the powerful RTX 4090 GPU.
Modder who rightly is a true artist and regularly features new PC gaming systems on his YouTube channel, which he builds with quality materials. And his new work looks especially impressive, in which he invested many hours of work to build a gaming PC with high-end hardware and quality wood.
