This is the second time that the police have issued a call to potential witnesses in the investigation into the sexual offence to come forward. Previously, the police asked all people who were in the vicinity of the Leemslagenbrug over the Zijkanaal to Almelo (this is a branch of the Twentekanaal) on Friday afternoon 6 September between 12:00 and 22:00 to come forward. The police believe that these people can provide important information, even if they are not aware of it.
