Even more than is already the case, the Deventer council wants to direct all through traffic as much as possible over the important main roads that connect to the A1 motorway. This applies to the Hanzetracé (N344), the Siemelinksweg and Weg door Zuid-Salland (N348) and the Henri Dunantlaan, van Oldenielstraat, Margijnenenk, Lebuinuslaan and Overstichtlaan (N337). These will remain 50 km roads, secured with traffic lights at intersections and roundabouts.
