Terracina, 19 September 2024 – As part of the activity to combat violent phenomena committed in places of “moved”the Police Chief issued three DACURs against three Tunisian nationals who, in the past few months, had been responsible for disturbances near some public establishments in Terracina, which then continued also in the premises of Police station.
The recipients of the measures, last June 26, had in fact triggered a violent brawl in front of some commercial establishments, the phases of which had been entirely filmed by some cameras and from which violent conduct had emerged consisting of kicks, punches and even the use of a baseball bat.
Following the intervention of the police officers from the Terracina Police Station, the individuals involved were taken to the police station for the relevant checks and here they once again gave cause a disturbance in an attempt to hit each other again with kicks and punchesriots quelled only thanks to the prompt operation of the agentswho were also injured in the fight.
For these facts, the three non-EU citizens were reported to the Judicial Authority for the crimes of aggravated brawl and injuries to a Public Official in parallel, the assessment of the investigative documents has allowed the police officers of the Anti-Crime Division of the Latina Police Headquarters, attentive to ensuring a response to the phenomena of violence that cause damage to public order and safety, to activate the administrative procedures aimed at applying the preventive measure, which aim to create a deterrent effect against phenomena of urban violence.
The three responsible parties, whose conduct will be assessed from a criminal perspective by the AG, will be banned for 2 years from frequenting public places or places open to the public intended for the supply of food and/or drinks such as pubs, taverns, bars and restaurants as well as places of public entertainment such as discos, night clubs and similar within the centre of the Municipality of Terracina.
In case of violation, the recipients risk imprisonment from 6 months to 2 years and a fine from 10,000 to 24,000 euros.
