Ewout van der Horst is enthusiastic: “It is a beautiful historical location of the former Heilige Geest Gasthuis, very suitable for making temporary exhibitions about Deventer. The location is also good, directly opposite De Waag. We are thinking of exhibitions from all kinds of collections of paintings and toys that we have. For example about the Deventer master forger Han van Meegeren, who even made the Nazis believe that he could paint real Vermeers.”
