Marvel Studios is preparing for the next two Marvel movies Avengers become the biggest hits in their history. However, the road to getting there won’t be easy: the introduction of Doctor Doom has to be carefully prepared, and many iconic characters will return to the franchise with this saga.
Among them, one of the superheroes whose reappearance is crucial to the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Wanda Maximoffalso known as the Scarlet Witch, whose whereabouts have been unknown since the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Well, during an interview with Variety, Wandavision creator Jac Schaeffer spoke about rumors of a solo film of the powerful mutant in upcoming Marvel projects.
“I mean, I’m here waiting for a Scarlet Witch movie, right? We all want Wanda, so fingers crossed that happens. Right now I’m at Agatha the Witch’s amusement park and I can’t see through the trees, but we’re hopeful.”
While Schaeffer has no concrete information on Elizabeth Olsen’s future at Marvel Studios, it’s likely that Scarlet Witch will make a key appearance in upcoming productions, playing a pivotal role in the events leading up to Secret Wars.
Along with Loki, Wanda is one of the most powerful figures in the Marvel universe, so her intervention will be decisive for one of the sides in the next great multiversal war. Avengers: Doomsday will hit theaters in May 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars in May 2027.
