For a while now, this has been a rumor that had reached a great many people and now, it seems that it is finally becoming a reality. Electronic Arts itself has officially confirmed that it is working with Amazon MGM Studios to bring this impressive video game saga to the screen of viewers. In addition, it will do so with renowned people, since the person in charge of directing this will be Kate Herron, who worked on the first season of the Loki series.
It will also be produced by LuckyChap, the production company that was created by actress Margot Robbie. It certainly seems that the product has some big celebrities behind it, so perhaps we can expect a great reception from fans. While making a Sims movie can be a bit tricky, with the team that they have confirmed, it is clear that they can make a really interesting product that will attract the attention of millions of people.
As we have already mentioned, this confirmation is official, as Electronic Arts itself has published it on its official website. As with other adaptations such as the new Minecraft movie, it is clear that these films need an extra touch of imagination to adapt a story to the big screen.
