Horse farms added to research
Vibrations, noise pollution, air quality, health effects, nitrogen, (planned) housing construction, nature reserves, other aviation activities, recreation, biodiversity: in the search for the best location to expand with fighter aircraft, the possible effects on many factors are mapped out by a research agency, commissioned by Defence.
Riding schools and horse farms were added to the list at a later time, after many complaints were received from horse farms in North Brabant. They fear for their business if fighter jets come near.
Defense will (using CBS figures) examine per location how many horse farms/riding schools are present in the area. Like all other factors, this will then be taken into account in the choice of a preferred location(s). The cabinet will make the decision next year.
