Police officer in Enschede may now also impose an area ban on troublemakers

Denying someone access to a certain area is a power that normally falls to the mayor. But Enschede is one of the cities where police officers can now also impose area bans. Since the introduction of the measure last month, two people have already been temporarily denied access to the city center.
