Mariah Carey is doing well under the circumstances after the sudden death of her mother and sister. Her ex-husband Nick Cannon told Page Six. He tries to support her as best he can.
“As a family, we just have to be there right now to support each other and give each other love,” said Cannon, who was married to the singer from 2008 to 2016. He heard the tragic news about 13-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, who Carey and Cannon are the parents of.
“She’s having a great time with the kids right now,” Cannon said. “That’s the most important thing in the world to her. And it’s great to see how supportive they are of their mom.”
Carey announced late last month that her mother Patricia (87) and her sister Alison (63) had died within hours of each other. She gave no further details, but called it a “tragic turn of events”.
