The cast for the second season of Netflix’s live-action One Piece series is almost complete. After announcing the actors and actresses who will play various secondary characters in recent weeks, the company has finally revealed (albeit accidentally) two of the most important roles in the new episodes of the series.
Netflix accidentally revealed, in the latest news update about the series, an image announcing the actors who will play the leaders of the Baroque Works group, the organized crime gang that has done nothing but cause problems for the Kingdom of Alabasta: Sir Crocodile y Nico Robin.
For the role of Nico Robin we have Lera Abovaa not very well-known Russian actress but who fits quite well with the look and age of the character, one of the most important in One Piece. However, the real surprise comes with Sir Crocodile, who will be played by none other than Joe Manganielloactor famous for his role as Flash Thompson in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy and for briefly portraying Crossbones in Zack Snyder’s DC universe.
Now only one important actor remains to be confirmed, that of Tony Tony Chopper. Nothing has been revealed about this yet, and it’s possible that Netflix wants to be very careful about how this character will appear in the live-action series. The second season of One Piece will premiere exclusively on Netflix sometime in 2025.
