Saturday of events at the Misano World Circuit
On Saturday 21 September at 11:30 am at the Pit Building of the Misano World Circuit (MWC), an installation will be unveiled that will recall the prestigious Compasso d’Oro ADI 2024 award that the MWC, together with designer Aldo Drudi, received last June in the ‘Research for Business’ category. The Award refers to the intuition of synthesizing the colors of the Riders’ Land in the over 20,000 square meters of the Marco Simoncelli escape routes, to the point of making the track an identity and connecting it with the territory.
The installation will make the memory of the prestigious award permanent in a strategic space that looks to the future of the circuit. The ceremony will be attended by the top management of ADI with the vice president Antonella Andriani and Wladimiro Bendandi president of ADI Emilia-Romagna, those of MWC with the president Luca Colaiacovo and the managing director Andrea Albani, Carmelo Ezpeleta CEO of Dorna and the designer Aldo Drudi.

In collaboration with MWC, they will do a ‘paddock tour’, watch the sprint race and the day will end with the awards ceremony for the padel tournament at the swimming pool of the Santamonica Restaurant inside the circuit.
The genius of Massimo Tamburini on display at MWC and Transitalia Expo in Rimini
From Friday 20 September to Sunday 22 September, all those who go to the Misano World Circuit cannot miss “The world of Massimo Tamburini”, the exhibition set up in the rooms of Garage 51, in grandstand C.
The initiative, strongly supported by the daughter of the designer from Rimini, Simona Tamburini, falls on the tenth anniversary of the death of her father Massimo, and coincides with the thirtieth anniversary of the production of one of his most important “creations”, the Ducati 916. On display are many jewels, motorcycles that saw Massimo Tamburini as the protagonist of a period, when in 1973 he founded the Bimota motorcycle company, until the end of the early 2000s, when Tamburini ceased his intense collaboration with MV Agusta. On Sunday 22nd, Massimo Tamburini’s daughter, Simona, and Livio Lodi, curator of the Ducati Museum, who contributed to the creation of this important exhibition, will be present at the exhibition.
On the same weekend, in Piazzale Fellini and on Lungomare Tintori in Rimini, the third edition of Transitalia Expo will take place, an event that accompanies the tenth edition of the Transitalia Marathon, starting from Rimini on Monday 23 September.
It is also reported that the advance sale of tickets to attend the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix continues, in which all Sunday races will be brought forward by one hour compared to the canonical time. Tickets can be purchased on the TicketOne platform and on the misanocircuit.com website.
