Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been arrested in New York, The New York Times and TMZ report, citing sources. It is unclear on what grounds the rapper is being held.
There have been rumors for some time that the American justice department is preparing a case against Combs. In March, searches were conducted at his properties in Los Angeles and Miami. This was related to an investigation into Combs’ involvement in human trafficking for sex. He had previously come under fire for multiple allegations of sexual abuse.
Combs, 54, has been accused of rape by multiple women in recent times. One of them claims that she was a victim of him in 2003 at the age of 17. Sean Combs, also known as Puff Daddy or rapper Diddy, previously denied all accusations against him. “Enough is enough,” he wrote about it on Instagram late last year.
