After months and months of rumours about an expansion of the PlayStation’s Horizon series, a leak finally revealed the surprise announcement of LEGO Horizon Adventures at Summer Game Fest 2024. This action-adventure set in the series with LEGO-style combat and exploration is separate from everything seen so far, making it a game that can be enjoyed without having played any previous adventures.
Now, the ESRB age rating system details that “players take on the role of Aloy as she protects her home from invaders,” noting that the game revisits the story of the original work. “From a top-down 3/4 perspective, players traverse platforming environments, interact with characters, and engage in melee combat against LEGO figures and robotic dinosaurs.”

Rated 10+ in North America, the game invites you to punch and use bows and explosives to defeat enemies that break into LEGO pieces. “Battles are often fast-paced and accompanied by explosions, impact sounds, and screams of pain. Boss encounters involve longer fights with larger robotic dinosaurs,” the description adds, concluding that the word “ass” is heard in the game.
LEGO Horizon Adventures has no release date
Surprisingly, LEGO Horizon Adventures is not only coming to PS5, but is also coming to Nintendo Switch and PC. Beyond playing solo, two people will be able to enjoy the experience better through local or online co-op, although it will not be cross-platform. This is explained by Guerilla, the studio responsible for the series, and Studio Gobo, who have worked in collaboration with the LEGO team.
Although a release date has been rumored, we’re waiting for a State of Play or official announcement to find out when the LEGO version of Alloy will be playable.
