The four performed the first private spacewalk while orbiting about 740 kilometers above Earth, higher than the International Space Station and the Hubble Space Telescope.
Their spacecraft reached a peak altitude of 1,408 kilometers after its launch on Tuesday.
Isaacman became only the 264th person to perform a spacewalk, since the former Soviet Union recorded the first spacewalk in 1965, and SpaceX engineer Sarah Gillis became the 265th.
So far, all spacewalks have been performed by professional astronauts.
On Thursday, SpaceX succeeded in achieving the first spacewalk in history for a private crew, as two members of its Polaris Dawn mission emerged from their vehicle in their white and gray suits, in a historic photo.
The Polaris Dawn mission was organized by Isaacman, 41, who is partly funding the trip for an undisclosed sum.
The mission marks a new historic milestone in commercial space exploration.
NASA Administrator Bill Nelson immediately congratulated SpaceX, calling the event “a huge step forward for the commercial space industry.”
